At least the river means being able to wash and drink, but it's doing nothing to cure the other two. Working on a cure for her headache, Mari's retired to the beach with her pack of cards. In the shade from a palm, she deals herself out a hand of solitaire and starts playing. With almost every move she makes though, she glances up to look out over the ocean.

Annie led her to base camp. After a few gulps of water, Marnie went back to the beach. They need to keep looking for washed up supplies. They need to bury their dead as well. How horrible it would be to let the bodies just rot there... She hugs herself as she scans the horizon line, then hears someone speak up. A girl.

"Hello?" she murmurs, scrunching her eyebrows together when she notices Mari's playing cards with herself. Cards. She has about a hundred games on her laptop, which most certainly hasn't survived the crash, but the cards are still readable from several feet away. "Do you mind if I-" Marnie bows her head, her stiff, salty curls swinging into her face. "Mind if I join you?"
